In partnership with Giant Spoon, we helped HP to launch their “Do More With Data” interactive advertising campaign. Specifically targeting Data Scientists and Analysts with a new lineup of Z desktops and laptops, HP launched a unique gamification experience that starts with “Unlocked” - an action-packed short film. We were responsible for creating a title sequence for the film which tells the story of two data scientists who must use the power of data to find a rare flower, rumored to cure neurological diseases before it falls into the wrong hands.
The goal was to show how we can incorporate the concept of data science into the title sequence in a subtle but effective way. With the flower being the main point of interest in the story, we centered the title sequence around it. Through different design concepts, we settled on a digitized approach that shows hints of code bringing this ancient flower back to life.
