Star Wars: The New Republic

Star Wars: The New Republic Anthology was an online fan film designed to showcase what a full-length Boba Fett movie could look like. We love Star Wars so this was a joy to work on. We completed the five visual effects shots featured in this piece. Starting with creating a fully CG desert environment of the Tatooine Dune Sea, home to the infamous Sarlaac Pit, we also created a photorealistic version of Boba Fett’s ship, Slave 1, based on Ralph McQuarrie’s original artwork for these beloved films.
